Itinerary
At the indicated time, we will pick you up in the area where your hotel in Lanzarote is located and we will go directly to the Timanfaya National Park, the great natural jewel of the island.
We will take the so-called Route of the Volcanoes to get to know its amazing landscapes, which seem to be taken from another planet. The soil of this place has a special strength. We will see this by attending the geothermal demonstrations on the Islet of Hilario. In this area of the Park the temperature of the subsoil ranges between 400 and 600 degrees Celsius, hence it is also called “Mountains of Fire”. If you want to explore this incredible place in a different way, you can opt for an optional camel ride.
Next, we will move to the wine area of La Geria. In these volcanic soils, the Malvasia grapes allow excellent wines to be made. We will visit a winery for a tasting of Lanzarote wine in which we will learn to distinguish its characteristic flavor. Afterwards you will have free time to have lunch freely before resuming our route through the south of Lanzarote.
We will make a new stop in the town of El Golfo. In this area of the island we will observe a wonder of nature: El Charco de los Clicos or Laguna Verde, colored with this tone by the action of algae.
Finally, we will return to the area of your hotel, where the arrival is scheduled between 6 and 8 hours after pickup.
