Public transport in Lanzarote
Another very economical and practical option is the public transport with frequent lines between the towns of the island and at a great price.
This option is great if you only want to visit the most touristic areas like Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca but it becomes a worse option to visit more remote places like Famara or Orzola as the lines are much less frequent to those areas. The service is available during all the hours the airport is open and will save you the stress of waiting for a cab at the airport which is very frequent especially in high season like summer or December.
