Itinerary

At the indicated time we will meet in the park in front of the Arrecife Island Hospital to embark on a free tour of the capital of Lanzarote. History and an immense cultural heritage are waiting for you.

We will start by strolling through the Marina Lanzarote, where we will appreciate the sculpture “Fisherman with Marlin”. This specular work, which reaches 7 meters in height, pays homage to the fisherman Gregorio Fuentes, the person who inspired Ernest Hemingway in his novel ‘The Old Man and the Sea‘.

We will continue through the Charco de San Ginés, where the statue dedicated to the Los Buches party awaits us. We will discover everything related to this carnival tradition as we move towards the picturesque neighborhood of La Puntilla, where the Rincón del Aguarecido is located.

We will continue to the Plaza de las Palmas, presided over by the church of San Ginés. We will contemplate the details of the main religious building in Arrecife, as well as the buildings that accompany it.

Afterwards, we will walk along Calle Real and advance towards the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture until we pass through the José Ramírez Cerdá park. In its surroundings, we will stop in front of the bandstand.

Finally, we will say goodbye in the Islas Canarias park after two and a half hours of travel. See you again!
