At the top of the crater it is usually very windy, so it is advisable to be prepared with some warm clothing, depending on the time of year.

Enjoy this 2.9-km circular route near Yaiza, Lanzarote. It is generally considered a moderate route, taking an average of 1 h 1 min to complete. It’s a popular region for birdwatching and hiking, so you’re likely to run into other people while you’re in the area. The best time to visit this route is from February to March. The highlight of the tour is the arrival at the crater, from where you can appreciate breathtaking views of the south of Lanzarote.
