With its stunning colours and contrasts, this approximately 100-metre-long beach offers a unique experience on the coast of Lanzarote.

History of Playa de la Cantería

During the Spanish Civil War, trenches were created in the area between the beach and the village of Órzola, which today can be explored with caution due to the steep topography. In addition, the beach has a fountain and caves that add a mystical touch to its surroundings.

What to see in Playa de la Cantería

Playa de la Cantería is famous for its picturesque beauty.

Bathing is pleasant, but caution is advised due to the currents present in the area. In addition, it is a paradise for lovers of surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, thanks to its maritime conditions and the wind coming from the mountains.
