What to see in the Cactus Garden?

The Cactus Garden is an oasis of more than 10,000 square meters that is home to an impressive collection of more than 1,400 species of cacti from around the world. During the visit, you will be able to admire the diversity and beauty of these plants, from the small and delicate to the giant and majestic. In addition, the Cactus Garden is famous for its architectural design, the work of local artist César Manrique. The garden blends seamlessly into the volcanic landscape of the island, creating a stunning contrast between the green of the cacti and the black of the lava.

History of the Cactus Garden

The Cactus Garden was inaugurated in 1990 and is the last of César Manrique’s major projects in Lanzarote. The artist wanted to create a space where the beauty and diversity of cacti could be appreciated, and at the same time, promote respect and conservation of these plants.

Cactus Garden Hours and Rates

The Cactus Garden is Open every day of the year, except December 25 and January 1. The schedule is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. The entrance fees are as follows:

If you prefer not to make the reservation online, no problem, you can also do it directly at the center. And for all those who ask us, to this day, there is no voucher that includes all the centers, so it is necessary to buy each ticket individually.
