Modalities
Great surfers say that the moment you step into In contact with the sea, the sensation is so enveloping that everything else is relegated to the background. Add to that the incredible waters of Caleta de Famara, with waves from sunrise to sunset, and the experience is even better.
When booking the surf course, you can choose between the following modalities:
2-hour course
If you are short on time, but want to learn to surf, then this two-hour course is perfect for you. We will teach you the basics in the sand and then we will enter the waters of Lanzarote to take the waves.
We assure you that the feeling of freedom you will feel on the board is incomparable to any other and you will also have fun with other people who are also learning like you.
Schedules
You can choose one of the following two starting times:
- At 10:00 a.m., ending at 12:00 p.m. (meeting time will be at 9:15 a.m.),
- At 12:30 p.m ., ending at 2:30 p.m. (the meeting time will be at 11:45 a.m.).
4-hour course
We will start our surfing adventure by teaching you the basics, with the help of the most experienced instructors, and we will practice on the sand before going out to sea. With the concepts in mind and after warming up, we will take the boards and launch ourselves into the waves. It is normal for you to fall, especially the first few times, but the important thing is that you do not throw in the towel and get back on your feet.
Timetable: the course is divided into two classes. The first lesson takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m . and, after a half-hour break to rest, the second takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
3-day course
If you prefer to spend more time in this corner of Lanzarote, this is the perfect option for you. With it you will enjoy all the material for surfing, whether you are beginners or have a more advanced level in this water sport. Not only that, but this course includes a two-hour photo shoot as well. You will take home the best memory of the experience!
Timetables: during the 3 days of the course, classes are divided into two sections. The first lesson takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m . and, after a half-hour break, the second will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Important
The 2 and 4 hour surf course is level 1.
Pickup
The activity includes hotel pick-up only for the 4-hour modality. If two or more people make the reservation, we offer you a transfer service from the hotels in Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, Puerto Calero or Costa Teguise. In these cases, you must indicate the name of the hotel and your contact telephone number when booking.
If your hotel is outside these areas or the reservation is only for one person, we do not offer transfer service. In this case, 45 minutes before the start of the class we will meet at Calima Surf School, on Avenida el Marinero, 13.
